mytel.lk is a service provided by Saltside Technologies AB (subject to your compliance with the Terms and Conditions set forth below). Please read these Terms and Conditions before using this Web Site.


General

Advertisers and users are responsible for ensuring that advertising content, text, images, graphics, video ("Content") uploaded for inclusion on mytel.lk complies with all applicable laws. mytel.lk & Saltside Technologies AB assumes no responsibility for any illegality or any inaccuracy of the Content.


The advertisers and user guarantees that his or her Content do not violate any copyright, intellectual property rights or other rights of any person or entity, and agrees to release mytel.lk and Saltside Technologies AB from all obligations, liabilities and claims arising in connection with the use of (or the inability to use) the service.


Advertisers agree that their Content can may be presented through mytel.lk's partner sites under the same terms and conditions as on mytel.lk.


Copyright

Advertisers grant mytel.lk and Saltside Technologies AB a perpetual, royalty-free, irrevocable, non-exclusive right and license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from and distribute such Content or incorporate such Content into any form, medium, or technology now known or later developed.


The material (including the Content, and any other content, software or services) contained on mytel.lk are the property of Saltside Technologies AB, its subsidiaries, affiliates and/or third party licensors. Any intellectual property rights, such as copyright, trademarks, service marks, trade names and other distinguishing brands on the Web Site are the property of Saltside Technologies AB. To be clear: No material on this site may be copied, reproduced, republished, installed, posted, transmitted, stored or distributed without written permission from Saltside Technologies AB.


Watermarks

All images on mytel.lk are watermarked, which prevents the images to be used for other purposes, without the consent of the advertiser.


Safety and images

mytel.lk and Saltside Technologies AB reserves the right to change the title of the Content, for editorial purposes. mytel.lk and Saltside Technologies AB reserves the right not to publish images that are irrelevant or images that violate mytel.lk's rules.


Personal

mytel.lk and Saltside Technologies AB has the right to cooperate with authorities in the case any Content violates the law. The identity of advertisers, users or buyers may be determined, for example by an ISP. IP addresses may also be registered in order to ensure compliance with the terms and conditions.


Privacy

mytel.lk and Saltside Technologies AB will collect information from Users and Advertisers. It is a condition of use of the mytel.lk that each User and advertiser consents and authorises mytel.lk and Saltside Technologies AB to collect and use this information. mytel.lk and Saltside Technologies AB also reserves the right to disclose it to Company Affiliates and any other person for the purposes of administering, supporting and maintaining mytel.lk, as well as for improving mytel.lk, for example by using the information for research, marketing, product development and planning.


Cookies

This site uses cookies, which means that you must have cookies enabled on your computer in order for all functionality on this site to work properly. A cookie is a small data file that is written to your hard drive when you visit certain Web sites. Cookie files contain certain information, such as a random number user ID that the site assigns to a visitor to track the pages visited. A cookie cannot read data off your hard disk or read cookie files created by other sites. Cookies, by themselves, cannot be used to find out the identity of any user.


Email address of users

Users are required to submit a valid email address, before they are allowed to post advertisements. The email address of the User shall not be publicly displayed and other users are permitted to send email to the User through mytel.lk.


Site availability

mytel.lk and Saltside Technologies AB does not guarantee continuous or secure access to the Web Site. The Web Site is provided "as is" and as and when available.


Links to third party websites

mytel.lk may contain links or references to other websites ('Third Party Websites'). mytel.lk or Saltside Technologies AB shall not be responsible for the contents in Third Party Websites. Third Party Websites are not investigated or monitored. In the event the user decides to leave mytel.lk and access Third Party Sites, the user does so at his/her own risk.


Paid content and services

Some content and services of mytel.lk require payment, including but not limited to, membership packages, posting of ads in select categories, and sale of items through Doorstep Delivery.


Users may purchase ad promotions using vouchers issued or sold by mytel.lk. Vouchers may not be redeemed for cash.


Advertisers and Users may be required to transmit Paid Content information through a third-party service provider, which may be governed by its own terms of use. Linking to any third party service providers is at the Users' and Advertisers' own risk and mytel.lk disclaims all liability related thereto. Under no circumstances shall mytel.lk be obliged to refund any payments made in respect to Paid Content.


Memberships

As part of a membership package, mytel.lk will create a Shop on behalf of the user. A Shop is a dedicated webpage on mytel.lk, maintained by mytel.lk, with content provided by the user. mytel.lk has the right to any content added to the Shop by the user and has the right to remove or not publish the content if it violates any aspect of the Terms and Conditions.


mytel.lk reserves the right to modify or change membership packages, including the price and the contents of the membership package.


mytel.lk is not obligated to refund money or services if a membership package is cancelled early, for any reason.


Doorstep Delivery

Doorstep Delivery is an eCommerce service provided by mytel.lk to help Buyers get items delivered to their doorstep. In some cases, the delivery and payments are handled by the Seller, while in other cases they are handled by mytel.lk. Whether an item will be delivered by the Seller or by mytel.lk will be specified in the ad.


A Seller has to be a Member on mytel.lk to opt into the Doorstep Delivery service. For Seller-related Terms and Conditions, please contact your Field Sales Executive (or refer to the material provided by your Field Sales Executive). To become a member on mytel.lk, please contact support@mytel.lk or 0112350350.


By placing a 'Doorstep Delivery' order, Buyers undertake to purchase the item unless it is materially different from the description provided by the Seller on mytel.lk. If the delivered item is not as described in the ad, then the Buyer is entitled to a free replacement of the product under mytel.lk’s Buyer Protection policy.


mytel.lk does not provide any guarantees that Sellers have been truthful or accurate in their listings, have items in stock, will accept the return of the item, or provide any refunds. mytel.lk is not responsible for unsatisfactory or delayed performance, losses, damages or delays as a result of items being unavailable or mishandled by Sellers.


mytel.lk reserves the right to suspend, limit or withdraw access to mytel.lk and/or Membership of any user who does not comply with these terms.


Return & Replacement policy

Returns, Replacements & Refund may be requested only under the following circumstances:


If the product is not in a working condition or if the specification (color, size, weight & dimensions) of the product does not match the description given in the ad or if the product is found to be physically damaged at the time of delivery.

The replacement claim must be made within 72 hours of delivery by emailing to support@mytel.com or complaining at 0112350350.

mytel will investigate the validity of the claim and exchange the product with a functional product in case of valid claims only.

For products without warranty, claims will not be considered after the specified period of 72 hours after delivery.

For products with warranty, claims will fall under the specific warranty policy and mytel.lk will ensure the warranty is provided by the seller.


Replacement Process

Upon filing the complaints, mytel will call the buyer to verify the issues, within 48 hours.


If the complaint made is found to be within the purview of the replacement policy, mytel will provide the following options to the Buyer:


Buyer will be informed of the nearest courier location where s/he must arrange the product for delivering it to the seller's location.

Or, mytel will arrange the pickup from the customer to the seller's location.

Product must be returned in the same condition as it was received, along with the undamaged box, which came with the product. Replacement cannot be made if any parts of the product are missing or the box has been damaged.

The Seller will receive the product from the courier, investigate the problems and if the complaint is deemed to be valid, only then will the product be replaced, along with a refund of the courier fee which the buyer had incurred. If the same product is not available, full refund will be processed, along with the courier fee incurred by Buyer. However, if the complaint is not valid, the same product will be returned to the buyer and there will be no refund of the courier fee incurred by the buyer.


Refund Process

If your product is eligible for a refund, you can choose your preferred refund method based on the table below. The delivery charges are refunded along with the amount paid for your returned product.


The time required to complete a refund depends on the refund type you have selected. Once the seller has received your product (2-3 working days) and it has undergone an inception process from the seller’s end (1-2 working days)


Payment Method Type 1 - Online Paid (Debit or Credit Card)

Refund Type : Card Payment Reversal

Refund Duration : 1-5 Working Days


Payment Method Type 2 - Cash on Delivery (COD)

Refund Type : Bank Deposit

Refund Duration : 1-7 Working Days


Disclaimer

mytel.lk and Saltside Technologies AB assume no responsibility what so ever for the use of mytel.lk and disclaims all responsibility for any injury, claim, liability, or damage of any kind resulting from or arising out of or any way related to (a) any errors on mytel.lk or the Content, including but not limited to technical errors and typographical errors, (b) any third party web sites or content directly or indirectly accessed through links in mytel.lk, (c) the unavailability of mytel.lk, (d) your use of mytel.lk or the Content, or (e) your use of any equipment (or software) in connection with mytel.lk


Indemnification

Advertisers and users agree to indemnify mytel.lk & Saltside Technologies AB as well as its officers, directors, employees, agents, from and against all losses, expenses, damages and costs, including attorney's fees, resulting from any violation of this Terms and Conditions (including negligent or wrongful conduct).


Modifications

mytel.lk & Saltside Technologies AB reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions. Such modifications shall be effective immediately upon posting on mytel.lk. You are responsible for the reviewing of such modifications. Your continued access or use of mytel.lk shall be deemed your acceptance of the modified terms and conditions.


Governing law

mytel.lk is operated under the laws and regulations of Sri Lanka.
